Things to be Thankful for: The Twin Survival Edition

While it goes without saying that I am beyond thankful for my hoot and holler of twin boys, their amazing father, and our wonderful supportive families, I am also thankful for a few things that help us get through the day.

The Double Stroller: This is the only way I am able to enter the public realm solo with my boys. Part lifeline, part grocery cart, and part exercise tool, I love it oh so much.

The Mommy Hook: This simple, but clever device hooks on to the stroller handle, and is strong enough to carry heavy grocery bags, so I don’t have to put them on the children’s laps or attempt to push the stroller with one hand (trust me, it isn’t pretty). Win, Win!

Kermit the Frog and the song The Rainbow Connection: Somehow in the first few months of their lives, we discovered that seeing Kermit sing was a guaranteed way to comfort and quiet them. It has helped us though everything from long car trips to doctor’s visits. It’s okay if Mom sings the song, but Kermit is definitely preferred.

STRONG Board Books: Because after a couple of your childhood favorites are ripped or gnawed on, it is time to switch to the hard stuff.

Automatic Diaper Delivery: I am happy to say I have never run out of diapers. And that is something to be thankful for.
